Is it true that this place is haunted?

According to some of our guests and staff, yes. Given the area’s history of tragedy and death it could very well be haunted. The early 1800′s and 1900′s provide several tales of peril and dismay for the men and women who came here to challenge mother nature. Their goals varied from exploration, gold seeking or attempting to build a better future for Canada.

Mysterious voices, shadows lurking about, objects falling off shelves and mysterious shapes appearing in photographs are just some of the spooky testimonials. But don’t let all this scare you. We think our ghosts are friendly and hospitable!

Can I book a private party?

We are available for private parties after regular hours. When the lights are on the river in the evening it makes for a magical time. We have hosted everything from wrap up parties to weddings to dry grads. Contact us and we will set it up for you.
