Hell’s Gate Airtram is closed for the season and we will return on late April 2021.
COVID-19 Update – August 18th, 2020
Safety Plans and procedures are in place to welcome you back to the Hell’s Gate Airtram for a safe and memorable trip.
Enhanced safety measures
1.In the initial weeks of opening, visitors to Hell’s Gate Airtram will be reduced to approximately 20% of normal capacity to allow for safe physical distancing.
2.Hand sanitizing stations and physical distancing measures and signage are in place throughout the facilities.
3. We have increased cleaning and sanitization procedures. High traffic areas as tramways will receive full sanitization each run.
4.Plexiglass barriers have been installed at each cashier desks.
5.All staff members have received training to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 and they will wear non-medical masks when interacting with visitors.
6.We have stopped the onsite fudge making and limited the flavours on ice cream bars. Restaurant menu has been simplified to hot dog, bagged potato chips and bottled drink only.

Dear customers and partners,
As you may have noticed, the Federal Government of Canada and the Provincial Government of B.C. are taking a series of actions and advising people to stay home unless it is an absolute need to go out, in order to prevent the transmission of the COVID-19. As a popular tourist destination that attracts hundreds of visitors on a daily basis, we have to implement a series of actions to protect our valued customers, employees and our community.
Thus, Hell’s Gate Airtram has postponed the planned April opening for the 2020 Season due to the COVID-19 Epidemic until further notice. We hope that the impact of the virus diminishes in the near future, and we will welcome you to experience the awe-inspiring views and the exhilaration of being suspended over the immense power of the Fraser river.
We ask everyone to be socially responsible and follow the guidelines and recommendations of the local health authorities. Therefore, we can lessen the chance of spreading the virus and our normal lives can be restored in the near future.
Best Wishes ,
Hell’s Gate Airtram Management Team
